How It All Began

Our Story

A love written in the stars

Our story started during our housemanship at OAU Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, when we were both posted to Paediatrics. In the middle of busy ward rounds, long calls, and everything that comes with hospital life, we somehow found each other.

What began as casual conversations after rounds soon became something we both looked forward to — gist-filled walks around the hospital, laughing over the smallest things. It felt easy, like we had known each other much longer.

Friendship came first, strong and genuine. Then somewhere along the line, we took a chance on us. From our first dates to all the little moments in between, our love grew steadily, beautifully, and with intention.

What started in Ile-Ife is now a lifelong journey. With our families, our culture, and God at the centre — we can't wait to say "I do."

Getting to Know Us

Tidbits

Little things that make us, us
How did you two first meet?See Our Story — but in short, Paediatrics ward at OAU Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife. Hospital life brought us together.
Who made the first move?He did — he asked me out on a date after a party we both attended at the house officers quarters.
Most memorable date?A weekend trip to Ibadan to unwind from the stress of house job. We explored the city together and got to know each other better.
Favourite thing to do together?Going to the movies and visiting our favourite restaurants. We love a good outing.
Where are you off for your honeymoon?Loveth has always wanted to go to Santorini — so I guess that's where we're headed! 🇬🇷
Best meal you've shared together?A well done, juicy steak and steamed veggies. Every single time.
Most memorable trip together?Dubai 2022 — our first trip abroad together. We ticked so many things off the bucket list, including parasailing. Unforgettable.
Most spontaneous thing you've done? That Dubai trip! We literally just woke up one day, decided we wanted to travel the next week — and boom, we did it.
We're on the same page about…Family! Both first son and first daughter, we hold family values close to our hearts and look out for our siblings like second parents.
A life goal of oursTo build wealth together and raise God-fearing children.
The dorkiest thing about usWe both enjoy trivia games and can play all day long. Don't challenge us.
A social cause we care aboutWe both advocate for children's rights and safeguarding. It's close to both our hearts as doctors.
